Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and FocusOnU Growth Consulting ("we", "us"), the company that operates Ledgr at useledgr.com.ng. By creating an account or using Ledgr, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Ledgr for a business, you confirm that you can accept these Terms on its behalf.

1. What Ledgr does

Ledgr lets you upload photos or PDFs of receipts, invoices and order slips. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) to read them, shows the details in a table, saves them to Google Sheets when you choose, and answers questions about the receipts you have saved.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate sign-up details.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us quickly if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Plans, limits and payment

• Pro is billed monthly in advance through Paystack, by card, bank transfer or USSD. Payments are processed for FocusOnU Growth Consulting.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the account menu in Ledgr, and you keep Pro until the end of the month you have paid for.
• Payments are non-refundable, including for partly used months, except where the law requires otherwise or we decide to make an exception.
• We may change prices or limits in the future. We will tell you at least 14 days before a change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

4. Check your results

AI can make mistakes, especially with faded, crumpled or handwritten receipts. You are responsible for checking the information Ledgr extracts and the answers it gives before you rely on them. Ledgr is a record-keeping tool and does not give accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. Keep your original receipts where the law or your accountant requires them.

5. Your content

You own the receipts and information you upload. You give us permission to store, process and display them only so we can run Ledgr for you, including sending them to our AI and hosting providers as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to upload them.

6. Google Sheets

If you connect Google, Ledgr can only access the sheets it creates for you. Your use of Google services is also covered by Google's own terms. You can disconnect Google at any time from the account menu.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload documents that are illegal, fraudulent, or that you have no right to use.
• Use Ledgr to create fake or altered receipts.
• Try to get around plan limits, share one paid account among many unrelated businesses, or access other users' data.
• Disrupt, overload, copy or reverse engineer the service.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Ledgr running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We may improve, change or stop features over time, and we will give reasonable notice of major changes that affect paid users.

9. Limitation of liability

Ledgr is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or business decisions made using Ledgr's results. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using Ledgr at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end or suspend your access if you break these Terms. Sheets already saved to your Google Drive stay with you.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, unless the law gives you the right to use another court.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we make important changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and let users know in the app. Using Ledgr after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
